Mohammed Farooqui, DPM
Mohammed Farooqui, DPM is a double board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon in practice for over 11 years.
Dr. Farooqui received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. He then attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL., where he graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2012. His postgraduate training included a residency at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, TX., where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Farooqui is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (Diplomate), and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (Fellow), and is an active member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is affiliated with CHI St. Luke's Patients Medical Center, and HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast.
Dr. Farooqui resides in Pearland, TX with his wife—an Ophthalmologist at UT physicians group—and two sons. He enjoys spending time with them, watching UT football, traveling, basketball, and tennis.
Daren M. Guertin, DPM
Daren M. Guertin is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with over 20 years of experience.
Dr. Guertin received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Louisiana State University, where he was two-time All-American in springboard diving and placed 3rd on the one-meter and three-meter springboard events at NCAA Championships in 1998. He then proceeded to study at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2003. After graduating he stayed in Philadelphia for three more years to complete his postgraduate training as a resident at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Dr. Guertin is board-certified by, and is a Fellow of, the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He is affiliated with several hospitals in the Houston area, including Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital, HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast, and CHI St. Luke's Patients Medical Center, Pasadena. Dr. Guertin is also an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
Deer Park, Texas is where Dr. Guertin calls home. He lives there with his wife Kami and their 2 children.
S.F. "Charley" Hartley, DPM
S.F. Hartley, DPM is a veteran of the podiatric industry, having practiced as a physician and surgeon for 45 years. Dr. Hartley is the original founder of The Foot and Ankle Specialists, which he started 45 years ago. Although he has retired and no longer participates in the day to day activities of the practice, he will, however, remain as a consultant.
